Whether you’re gearing up for your first splash at the Aqualough or flying high on our aerial courses, we’ve answered the most common questions to help you plan your visit.

How far in advance should I arrive before my activity? 

Aqualough: Please arrive 40 minutes before your session. 
All other activities: Please arrive 15 minutes before your session. 

The deepest point of the lake is 3.5 metres. Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn. Participants should be comfortable being in open water before taking part.

Safety is our top priority across the park. All equipment is certified and regularly checked, and all activities are supervised by professionally trained staff. Protective equipment such as helmets and harnesses is provided where required. Aqualough sessions are supervised by RLSS trained lifeguards to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Activities usually continue in most weather conditions. If Met Éireann issues an official orange or red weather warning, the park will close for safety reasons. A daily risk assessment is completed each morning. If your activity is cancelled due to weather, you will be contacted and offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund.

Lockers for valuables are available at the Aqualough only. All personal belongings are left at the owner’s risk, and Flynn Park cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items. During busy periods, items may be misplaced. All found items are stored in the Lost and Found container. Please visit reception and a team member will direct you if you wish to check for a lost item.

Yes, you are welcome to wear your own wetsuit during water activities.

Yes. All participants must be comfortable in the water and able to swim at least 50 metres while wearing a buoyancy aid. Buoyancy aids are provided and must be worn at all times during Aqualough activities.

We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot, as availability for walk-in visitors cannot be guaranteed.

Flynn Park is fully outdoors, so please dress for the weather. We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses on sunny days, and waterproof clothing and a change of clothes on wet days. For Aqualough, bring a towel and dry clothes. Closed-toe shoes are required for all activities. Flip-flops and sandals are not permitted.

Due to hilly terrain and gravel paths, wheelchair access is currently limited in some areas of the park. We are continuing to explore ways to improve accessibility.

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking and are non refundable. For group bookings, a 25 percent non refundable deposit is required. Final payment and confirmation of numbers must be provided at least 7 days before the event.

Yes, participants under 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult for the duration of their visit.

Yes, free parking is available on site at Flynn Park.
